A D&D 5e Low magic campaign that takes place on the iron age world of Alleb.

Arcane Magic is wild and uncontrollable. Religious clergy have take the place of mages as the ruling class.
Uncontrollable wild magic surged across the land, this sudden change in power ravaged the world and distorted the foundation of the material plane. As a result many base elements become exceedingly rare, or lost all together as they were consumed in the explosion of magic energy. Making simple crafts like foruging and smithing almost imposable, as a result forged metals have become incredibly valuable. Steel being legendary. In the wake of this humans have come the dominant race on the surface world, enslaving the ‘wild’ races to power their empires.

For the last 500 years great wars have been waged over the control of whatever steel remains and to hold the territories containing metal ores.
